1967 Bizzarrini P-538 Sport Racer
Don't look at this car if you have a weak stomach. As the
name implies, this car is weird.
Bizzarrinis were made in Livorno, Italy, from
1965 to 1969, and then again in 1991. Giotto Bizzarrini also built the
first Iso-Grifo. Bizzarrini was producing sports cars with front-mounted
American V8s when contemporaries were building mid-engined sports cars.
This left Bizzarrini cars looking behind the times technically. Though,
they were reported as being very efficient. The production run in 1991
was for a proprosed 160mph two-seater named Picchiom. I've personally never
seen or heard of a Picchiom. Have you?
