1996 Lincoln Sentinal concept
Is this the future Lincoln of presidential parades? Note the triangular exhaust outlets in the buumper. Ford dubs their new-found styling as "New Edge". Seen here and on the European Ford Puma, Ka, and the new American Cougar. The Sentinal made its debut at the 1996 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Sentinal rides on 20" wheels. The car doesn't look very big but it is only one inch shorter than a 1996 Town Car.

These two Lincolns were side-by-side and for good reason. One can study the style similarities that span 30+ years. The Lincoln Continentals trademark "suicide doors".
