As the youngest son of Lord Llangattock, Charles Stuart Rolls was a motoring enthusiast. Born in 1877, Charles Rolls became a pioneer motorist, racing driver, and automobile trader for the well-to-do. Charles Rolls joined forces with Henry Royce in 1904. This duo worked together to make "The Best Car in the World" for only six years. In 1910, Charles Rolls perished in an aviation accident, though he was an accomplished aviator, being the first man to fly the English Cannel both ways.
