Andy Wallace was heavy on the throttle in Panoz #5 Saturday. The Panoz were able to pull out
a comfortable lead over the three much more expensive and technically advanced Porsche GT1s.
Unfortunately, the shootout to the finish between the Ford-powered Panozs and the Porsches
didn't materialize as the Panoz duo were pulled from the race with overheating troubles before
sunrise Sunday. Pity, but just you wait for Le Mans and Petit Le Mans!
