1929 Mercedes SSK Murphy-Bodied Speedster
Yes, the leather interior is the same light gray color as the body. Approximately
37 SSKs were built from
1928 to 1932. The 7L straight six belts out over 200bhp and propels the
116in wheelbased Super Sports Kurz
to over 110mph. The inagural Monaco GP, although won by a nimble Bugatti,
saw Rudolf Carraciola place
third in the 1929 event. Spare tires are mounted neatly into the front
open-air wings. This fine example of
motoring history is currently owned by Arturo Keller.
