1927 Mercedes Benz
While strolling down Rodeo I noticed that a local television media crew
had surrrounded the owner of this rather
average looking Mercedes. The owner, Don Ricardo (bottom photo; whom I later
found out is a renown
Mercedes 300 SL expert), was explaining how he had driven overnight from
a show in Arizona to Beverly Hills
to get to the Rodeo Concours on time. I did not catch if he said he was
behind the wheel of this 1927 model or if
the car were on a trailer. Thank you Mr. Ricardo for making it to Rodeo
Drive.
